Add to Cart button does not work/link to product

If you deactivate our plugin, can you then add it to cart or does it still keep circling?

When I deactivate the plugin and click “add to cart” – it works and adds the product direct to the cart.

when I activate the plugin and click “add to cart” it circles around and finally stops – but it neither a) adds the product to the cart or b) goes to the product page where people can select their options.

ideally, for products that have options, I want it to go straight to the product page when they click “add to cart” so that people can select the option I’ve placed in the product

Does the product have options that are required?

No. It doesn’t have an option that absolutely has to be selected.

does it need to have an option that is absolutely necessary?

if it does – I can try that.

if it doesn’t – it doesn’t explain when I click “add to cart” it doesn’t put anything into the cart anyway.

Update. I just made the option a made required field – and it still makes no difference.
