Add to cart after expiration ?

As per your query, you want that winning auction product to be added to the winner’s cart automatically when the auction expires. Currently, this functionality is not available in the Ultimate Auction for Woocommerce plugin or the Ultimate Woocommerce Auction Pro plugin.?It requires the custom code to achieve?your functionality.

Below is the current workflow:-

When the auction expires, the “Pay Now” button is displayed to the winner. When the winner clicks the “Pay Now” button, the winning auction product is added to the cart and the winner can checkout the auction product.

We have purposefully avoided adding auction product to “Cart” after expiration and the simple reason is that if you take any simple product and then add to cart then you have the option to remove it from the cart.

Auction product when expires then if we add it to the cart then based on the cart’s functionality, user will get an option to remove it from the cart and this operation would make no sense for an auction product because the auction product has expired and the winner has been declared and then if the user chooses to remove the product then an auctioneer would be at loss.

That is why once an auction product expires then it is added to the checkout page and not to “Cart” page.

Thanks for your answer. Can you at least give me the function used to add an auction in “My auctions” panel ?

I’m using gamipress and i would like to trigger something when an user wins an auction. Something like “if an auction is added to my auctions, give the user X points”.
