Add to basket notification

Hello,

I’m having problems integrating something on my site and I wondered if Divi had something built in that I could re-use.

I want to show a confirmation message every time a user adds something to their basket. The message should appear and then fade away only once the item has been added (*not just on a click event but successful add).

The reason I want to do this is:

1) The existing message that appears under the ‘Add to bag’ button which reads ‘View basket’ is only visible when you remain on the page. Once you leave the page and come back the message does not remain. I think this is confusing for the user and adds doubt as to whether or not the item is indeed in their basket.

2) Again with the confirmation tick on the ‘Add to bag’ button. This only appears when you are on the page and is far too subtle.

3) I need an indicator to highlight where the mini basket is, without sending the user to the basket page

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

I would assume it would be to do with the .added class that gets added to the default button. However, this class remains so it might not be possible to look for this multiple times. Unless we use a set timeout to tell this class to disappear after a few seconds?
