    Hi there,
for a few days now I haven’t been able to create a ticket in the backend for events. The error message appears: An error has occurred in this block and a preview is not possible. Does anyone else have this problem or does anyone have an idea how I can fix it? Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

Could you try manually updating our plugins to the latest version and see if that makes a difference? You can also deactivate/activate the plugin afterward if it doesn’t help.

It’s also possible that there’s a conflict between one of your plugins/themes. To check this, please to run a conflict test. I recommend doing this on a staging version of your website to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hello Darian,
thank you for your support. I have the plugin up to date (5.6.7), the event calendar is on version 6.2.5. I set up a staging environment and ran the conflict test – no change. Do you have any other ideas?

    Hi @mart1n

    Thanks for your response.

We just recently released a new version of our plugins. Could you try updating your plugins to the latest version from your staging site and see if that makes a difference?

Moreover, if you’re still using WP 6.4, please try updating it to WP 6.4.1, and see if that makes a difference.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello Darian, unfortunately the problem still exists. Event Ticket Version 5.6.8.1 and The Event Calendar Version 6.2.6.1., wordpress version 6.4.1.

    Hi @mart1n

    Thanks for your response.

I tried replicating it on my side where only The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are active, and by using a default theme like 2021, it’s working as expected.

Could you provide the steps to replicate the issue on our side? A screenshot or screen recording would be beneficial.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Darian,

I can offer you access to the staging so you can take a look at it yourself. I really can’t explain why this is.

    Hi @mart1n

I’m afraid it’s not possible to access your live or staging site. [see WordPress Forum Guidelines]

Could you try deleting and re-installing the plugin and see if that helps? If it doesn’t, may I know the version of your PHP and WP? I want to check it further on my side.

Let me know how it goes.

OK, you’re right. My mistake. So I deleted both plugins, reinstalled them (Event Ticket Version 5.7.0, The Event Calendar Version 6.2.8) on the Astra Theme (Version 4.5.0) and the error still persists. PHP version is 8.1 Thanks.

    Hi @mart1n,

Thank you for your message, and I’m sorry to learn of the continued difficulties. Does the issue occur with every new event or does it only happen on events you are editing?

Also, I recommend enabling debugging in WordPress to see if anything is thrown out on the logs that could provide some insights to this.

Sorry for the long time without message. I haven’t been able to find a working solution yet, which is why I’ve now unfortunately switched to another plugin.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for your support and effort.
