    Documentation says:

    Include podcast in main blog
    Selecting this option will add the podcast post type to your main blog archives. However, this will only work if your theme supports this kind of thing. A much better option is to use the post type options above as that will be more reliable and cross-compatible.

    How can I add theme support? This currently isn’t working and using the post type options isn’t right for our blog.

    It’s not a matter of adding theme support, but rather it’s the way your theme is built. That option adds the podcast post type to the home page query that all themes use. However, if your theme uses a custom query there instead of using the built-in WordPress front page query then this option won’t work.

    You will need to contact your theme developer about this.
