Hi firstly thank you very much for your support and prompt response, the plugin is amazing and greatly improved my site speed. However I have a few lingering issues. Kindly see the attached image:

    https://ibb.co/ccqH2m6

If I add a hero template block, it automatically comes with a “button” where “add text” placeholder is added.

However if I delete the button, and add a separate button. on every page edit, the ” add text button placeholder” shows and I have to delete it manually, if not, it shows up on final preview as black rectangle button…

    How to solve this?

    Many thanks again.

    Hi Joshua,

The placeholder text on the Button block is included in the WordPress block editor, it’s not something Twentig adds. As the button needs a text, WordPress adds a placeholder that automatically disappears as soon as you type your own text. If you don’t want a “black rectangle button”, you need to remove the entire Buttons block and not just delete the text.

To remove a block, select the block and click the three dots in the toolbar right above it. Among the settings there you’ll see the option to remove that block. (see https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/#remove-a-block)

If you enjoy Twentig, please rate it. It would really help me out ??

@twentig I remove the block each time, but on every single edit, the block re-appears ??

Could you please record your screen and share it so I can understand the issue better?
    Thanks
