Add Text as Trigger?

    I would like to create popup modals from text in addition to or instead of the buttons. I’m creating a page that will have text that, when clicked, will open modal windows to play YouTube videos. Is there an easy way to trigger the modals from text or would you consider adding text as an optional trigger to your plugin? Thank you very much.

    Hello @midihead,

    The options to trigger the modal using a custom trigger other than the button is a complicated one but is on the TODO list. I’ll aim to have something in place in the next couple of iterations or so.

    Thank you for planning to add the text trigger option. In the meantime, I have used the button option and changed the styling, padding and margins to make the buttons appear as normal text. It’s more work to achieve the desired result that way so the text trigger option will be a welcome addition to the plugin. ??

    Agreed… this is a good feature request. I would use it also.

    How was this resolved?

    I’d like this feature as well. I’m trying to open a PopBox from a custom HTML element.
    Any hints?
