    Hi,

in existing order -> edit -> add items(s) -> add tax , once I select the tax , there is an additional column show up , but with empty value , then if I click “recalculate” , that column is removed , even I manually changed the empty value to correct value , recalculate again , it still gets removed

did I misunderstand the option “add tax” ?

because I would expect to apply a tax to the order where it was made without tax

    best regards,

  • Hi @qtwrk

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are manually adding tax to an order which is tax-exclusive, correct?

Can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Meanwhile, I replicated the scenario on my personal site, adding a 10% tax rate.

Add Items > Add Tax > Tax:

Notice that the additional column Tax was added after clicking the button Add. A pencil icon would be added as well, and clicking that will display the tax input fields. Please add the taxable amount on this field, then hit Save.

    Here’s the output afterwards:

    Hope this helps!
