• Hi, I was wondering if there was a plugin or someone knows how
to do this: when you go to create a new post, you have the option to
add your own tags, well I was wondering if you could do this for when
    your writing your own page?

    Thanks alot

  • Sure, use Simple Tags.

Thanks, do you use this on your blog? And do you not need to have All In One SEO as a plugi then?

    Thanks

I′m using Simple Tags on all my blogs.

And do you not need to have All In One SEO as a plugi then?

You are mixing two different things. Tagging is a better navigation for your users, All In One SEO is for ranking in search machines.

its just that with both of these, i end up having two meta keywords in my head tags

if you use both, how do you stop having two meta keywords in the head?

    thanks

Simple Tags has an option page (under settings in dashboard). Click on the tab “Meta Keywords”, there you can make your settings.

    I did, but it doesn’t make a difference ??

Even though All in one SEO is enabled, Simple tags still adds the keywords to the head tags

Also, because you don’t use All in One Seo on your blog, but you have a meta description in your head tags, how did you do that with simple tags?

    Thanks Evita ??

    Appreciate your help

My headers are hard coded. I′m using conditional tags for this. You can see an example (for the title) on this site under “Okay, los gehts mit dem Code:”.
And sorry, my English is very bad so I can′t translate (and explain) it for you.
You can read more about conditional tags in the codex and I′m sure if you search the forum you will find a thread about using conditional tags in header.php.
