add some options to the gallery shortcode from wordpress

  • hi, I’m using the gallery shortcode to integrate a slider in my page and it works perfectly.

    Now I just want to k if I can customize it a little bit.

    I mean I would like to have this gallery start from the middle, at this time it start from the image 1 from right to left, and my goal is to start from the image 2, 3 or 4 and swipe from left or right.

    The second option is autoplay, can I add this option to let the slider move alone and visitor can see or swipe if he wants.

    I don’t think your gallery shortcode is the default WP gallery because the default gallery only presents a static grid of images, there is no swipe behavior. Your questions would be best answered in the dedicated support channel for whatever theme or plugin is providing the gallery shortcode you are using.

    ah ok yep I just understand what you mean but I thought that some options was for all galleries, like the autoplay

    so thanks a lot for your help I will talk to the theme’s owner !!

    Be aware that there is this filter, so you can add code to adjust an existing shortcode.
