Hi there – once you activate the Jetpack plugin, you’ll be able to set up the Featured Content slider in Dyad.

Once it’s active, you can follow these steps to set up your slider:

    1. Open your Customizer’s Featured Content panel and add a tag in the Tag name field – for example, the word featured
    2. Add the same tag (with the same capitalization) to the posts you’d like to appear in the slider
    3. Add a Featured Image to each post you’d like to appear in the slider. The recommended Featured Image size is at least 1800 by 1280px. The theme will scale and crop the images depending on the page and device size.

Let me know how it goes! If you need further help, please provide a link to your site so we can take a look directly.

Hi, thank you for your answer, but I am unable to find the panel of the Customizer’s Featured Content!

Could you provide a link to your site so I can confirm whether Jetpack is active?

Thanks for the link. Looks like Jetpack is active.

When you open your Customizer, do you see the Featured Content panel like this:

Customize Dyad 1 0 10 by Automattic tagline

If you don’t see it, could you try temporarily deactivating all plugins except Jetpack, to see if something might be interfering. If the Featured Content panel appears, turn on your plugins one-by-one, reloading the Customizer between each reactivation, to find the conflict.

Thanks for posting this one guys! When I add more than one feature content tag is will only display one post in the featured section. How do I get this to have arrows or scroll between different featured content?

    Thanks!

Jon – please start a new thread and provide a link to your site. Arrows should appear automatically to navigate between featured posts in the slider, so sounds like something might be amiss and it’ll be easier to troubleshoot if we can look at your site directly.
