    Hi,
When trying to add a WordPress site to Wordfence Central (WFC), process get stuck with a 404 error.
I guess the problem is related to the fact that the site has a custom login URL (it uses WP hide login plugin).
Tried both from WFC and from site’s dashboard as well.

WF Rest API is reachable at https://www.domain.tld/wp-json/wordfence/v1

Since website is behind Cloudflare, I also added dedicated WAF rules (as suggested in your docs) but still having the same issue.

    Thanks for any advice.

Hi @robertojobet, thanks for reaching out to us.

If Cloudflare is allowing our IPs and the REST API is visible, the issue is likely to be that Wordfence Central can’t see the custom Login URL when redirecting you to your admin area – confirming that you indeed run the site you’re adding.

Head over to Wordfence Central, go to the Connection Issues tab. Clear out the site if that’s still there. It may work to connect FROM your site TO Central instead.

Now log in as an admin on your site. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow, if those weren’t the docs you’ve already looked at.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.
