Add sidebar

    I want to add sidebar in some pages.
    I have added it successfully,excluding other page(posts). But i have to change layout of theme to make it appear properly,and when i do that it get apply to all pages.
    So there is white space on pages where is no sidebar,and i dont want that.
    Please help me guys on that.
    I have seen many post on this issue. But i didnt get proper solution.
