Add shortcode to description or title

    Hi. I noticed that i can add HTML code in description and title fields, however I would like adding shortcode instead, but there is a problem: When I add the shortcode and reload the page it executes and is read just for one second and then it is changed for the tag instead.

    If you want to replicate the issue you must position yourself so you can see the Paypal payment method option and then reload the page preventing it from scrolling up agin.

    I checked this for you and PPE is not a documented PayPal Checkout shortcode on https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/.

    May I know how you implement the shortcode?

    Hi, I wrote my own HTML code and ran it through Code snippets plugin. I have done that before and it has worked for other shortcodes.
    But I found that the issue has to do more with woocommerce itself more than with Paypal express checkout.

    Hey there,

    WooCommerce can be finicky about accepting shortcodes in fields that don’t expect them. I wouldn’t expect this field to be able to render a shortcode, though you may be able to make it work with customization.
