• As I couldn’t find any answer to my request on several websites, I hope to get help here to solve my problem. In fact, I would like to know how I can display additional content below products on Woocommerce custom taxonomy pages.

I found a solution for product categories that works perfectly (here : https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-add-a-second-content-box-product-category-pages/), but I would like to know how to adapt the code to make it work for custom taxonomies pages (I’m not a developer, so I would like to know the code to insert into my child theme repository).

I also found a plug-in called “archive control” that adds second description to all archives and taxonomies but the front end looks broken. The plug-in has not been updated in past 3 years.

I hope to get helped with the right code and or plug-in

    thanks a lot

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This is something that can be done by customizing the archive.php file and placing that in the child theme. We have a complete guide available at the following link that can help you to make that customization:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/

Although, this is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    Best,

Seems we’ve not had additional inputs on this thread. Thus, we encourage you to make use of the above resources.

I’ll go ahead and mark the thread as resolved but please feel free to create a new thread if you have further questions.
