Add search box to header

What happens when you go to the widget area of your WordPress admin? Can you simply drag this with your current theme? What is your current theme?

go to your widgets at /wp-admin/widgets.php and deleting the search widget there.. then after creating a child theme
put this code where you wan’t the search form to appear in your header :
<?php get_search_form( $echo ); ?>
