Add script in thank you page

I need to add a script in the thank you page.
Does this plugin make the work.
I have to place a specific script like this :

I also need to retrieve the order id (id_order) and the total order (amount)

I have seen that you can hook WC thank you page. What’s the advantage to use your plugin compared to the hook?
