Add Review Field Validation Problem

    Hello, I’m currently designing my WooCommerce website and bump into this problem. The review field doesn’t have form validation. For example, when I’m trying to submit a form without entering Name, Email and Review, the page is redirecting to page similar to the page when WordPress catching an error. Please see my screenshot below:

    I’ve tried this on a fresh install WordPress with only WooCommerce installed and same result.

    Is this normal?

    I’m using:
    Wordpress 5.3.2
    WooCommerce 3.9.2
    Twenty Twenty theme

    Hi there!

    I can confirm what you are describing occurs on my site as well. I see that there was a bug opened about this in the past, but closed with an explanation from the developers here:
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/22618

    As described there, WooCommerce adds JS validation on the star ratings since it’s custom from Woo, but the rest of the form is actually the comment form generated by WordPress and/or the theme. (Please check the link above for additional information/background).
