    Hi,

Our site is informational pages only; it isn’t a blog. It’s password protected and we set up users (subscribers) and issue the passwords. Basically we want our information to be seen only by people we authorize to see it – to this point, only people we seek.

However, because of referrals, we have people that want to see the information and we may (or may not) want them to. I would like to add a “Request Registration” button to the login page that would direct them to a form they could submit – without them actually entering the site. I tried to figure out how to do this but I couldn’t get there.

    Please help.

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hello, @amateur999

Right now we don’t have that kinda functionality in LoginPress which fulfills your desire.
However, we have the exact functionality under development and will launch it soon.

    Thank You.

Would it be possible to put a message above the email box that uses something like the lost password script but is a link to open up a new email in whatever client they use with our email address as the recipient. The text in the message would read something like: “If you have been referred to our site, please CLICK ON THE BUTTON to send us an email with your contact information and reason for contacting us.”

The button would be “mailto:[email protected]

This would be temporary until you get the form functionality.

I tried to figure out how to do it but I don’t know PHP or JS enough to make it happen.

(or if a button is too complicated for now, how do I add text above the email field?)

    Thanks,

    Gary

For this, you just need to know about HTML. Add your HTML into “Welcome Message on Login Page” input field form LoginPress > Customizer > Welcome Messages. Helping Doc

    Thank you.
