• WPvivid Enhancement Suggestions:

Unable to determine which remote storage provider alias was used in Backup List (as there are multiple GoogleCloud and multiple OneDrive locations etc. for customer cloud locations and website admin cloud locations).

    1) Please add the ability to see which Remote Storage + Alias Name was used for existing Backups (allow hover over remote storage icon in “Backup List”, change tooltip to say: Storage Provider: Remote Storage Alias Name (i.e. Alias used when backup was taken)
    2) Include the above in the Log of the existing backup
    3) In the “Backup Manual” section change hover popup of remote icon to include: Storage Provider: Default Alias (i.e. Current Default Remote Storage Alias name)
    4) In the “Schedule” section change hover popup of remote icon to include: Storage Provider: Default Alias (i.e. Current Default Remote Storage Alias name)
    5) Change email sent at backup to include Storage Provider: Remote Storage Alias Name (i.e. Alias used when backup was taken) – not just “Back up to: Storage Provider”

Examples: Storage Provider: Remote Storage Alias
    Google Drive: Customer-Owner
    Google Drive: Website-Admin
    Microsoft OneDrive: Customer-Owner
    Microsoft OneDrive: Website-Admin
    Dropbox: Customer-Owner
    Dropbox: Website-Admin

    Thanks

    Thanks for considerations…

Customer wants their own copy of backups (in case something ever happens to the website admin).
Customer authenticates WPvivid plugin to their own cloud storage provider, changes password, has 2FA or OTP.

Website Admin has same cloud storage provider(s) using their own accounts, used for daily backups and website rebuild or hosting changes.
Website Admin can’t get to Customer/Owner cloud storage to download a backup during an emergency rebuild or middle of the night hosting change.
Website Admin needs their own cloud storage.

If the website is rebuilt from scratch or they get new hosting, webadmin uses their own cloud storage, rebuilds the server/website, then at another time the customer/owner can login and reauthenticate the plugin to their own cloud account during normal hours or when time permits.

Issue is the same Storage Provider is displayed on existing backups, no messages in logs on which alias was used, with no indication of who owns the cloud storage containing the backups, and it’s unknown in the backup email which backup was taken on the same Storage Provider (i.e. also need Alias name). We lock some of the backups, and it’s unclear later which backup is for what cloud account, so it’s unclear which to unlock or delete or use for restore etc. It’s unclear which cloud backup completed in the email (i.e. which account/alias on the same storage provider). It’s unclear which backup failed in the email (i.e. which account/alias on the same storage provider).

    Hope this makes sense.
