Add Region Taxonomy in resume manager

I don’t think that “predefined regions” plugin has been built with resumes in mind – you could post a feature request on their forum?

Ok! maybe you are not full responsible to predefined regions plugin, i change my question: how do i change the “Location” into Predefined Taxonomy like “Resume Categories” so i can define location and user can choose it, rather than user input their own location (it will avoid misstyping).

It would involve unhooking and adding a new field, just like you do in job manager. There will be increased support for new field types in the next update.

@masbill wont last long, but you can get a free beta tester license for my plugin that does exactly this (last release this morning 1.1.1 including custom taxonomy field types) …

Just make sure you’re using WP Job Manager 1.14.0 or higher to use the custom taxonomy fields

@masbill thanks, and yeah I know, the plugin will automatically detect what version you’re using and then generate what field types are available.

You can get the latest release from GitHub if you want the taxonomy fields now, otherwise when Mike releases the next update it will automatically start showing the new field types.

One more question, how about display the custom fields to frontend and make it searcheable in Job Filter/Resume Filter??
