Add redirects from Joomla

Was the 404 and the URL captured by the plugin and does it appear in the captured 404 list? If so then just click the “Edit” link underneath the URL on that page.

Original URL:
https://luvina.com.mx/foros/?option=com_content&task=view&id=4040&Itemid=89&fbclid=IwAR32EiVio2NE2FQXetW16MwbAZuacM9T7DzjaN2UpIScgfgLRqX4iU8ep3Y

Captured URLs by the plugin:

/foros/index.php?option=com_content
/foros/?option=com_content
/foros/index.php?Itemid=89

So I added the redirect manually but it doesn’t seem to work. The Item is shared across different URLs.

should go to

I created a .htaccess in the folder of the Joomla installation and added rules like this one for the query strings:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
	RewriteEngine On
	RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} option=com_content&task=view&id=4040&Itemid=89
	RewriteRule (.*) /los-siete-viajeros-o-arte-povera-ladia-jorge/ [R=301,L]

Anyways I’d love to manage query strings directly in a plugin like yours.

You could use a regular expression like /foros/index.php?option=com_content.* with the plugin.

It appears to ignore the queries, the part after the index.php?.

Yeah seems that way. Is that part of the URL static? It looks like something that’s generated and would change fairly often.

Yeah, it will always be static. It is just the way Joomla defines the permalinks.

Well I guess I could look into it. Honestly I’m not so motivated since you already have a solution to the issue though.
