Add Read More missing?

    I am using both the Yelp and Google Reviews plugins from this developer. The Yelp plugin has a checkbox to “Add Read More” link which nicely shortens long reviews and provides a link that reveals the full text.

    I can’t seem to find a corresponding option in the Google version of the plugin, and I’m wondering if I am missing something obvious, if the option might be coming in an update, or if it just isn’t possible to have for some reason?

    Sorry, that option isn’t in the Google version. Basically, no one ever requested it. Yelp reviews have a tendency to be quite long.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I understand that by using the free versions, at least to start with, I don’t have much room to ask for changes.

    Some of our Google reviews are long, and since they aren’t truncated, they are visually irregular, and all longer than the Yelp snippets.

    We are aggregating all of our reviews in one page on our site. Between the longer texts, the irregular length of the Google reviews, and the lack of a logo and clickable link, they look pretty incongruous. I’ll see what I can do to mitigate the visual difference on the page.

    Hey that’s awesome, thanks! Works great, and my page looks a lot better just by tightening up that one thing. Really appreciate it.
