add posts to page other than home page

Good day. When publishing a post, it appears on the “home page”. That’s fine, makes sense.
However, if I write a post and assign it to category “x”, I want it to ONLY be shown on page “x” (not the home page), is there a way to do this?
Basically, I want all posts that are assigned to category “x”, to only show only on page “x” and all posts assigned to “uncategorized” to show only on the home page.
