• I have migrated my wordpress to a new server. Both ADD plugin and themes are gone from my admin inerface.

I have disabled all the plugins and enabled twenty thirteen
then I have uninstalled and re-installed WP from scratch. Tested admin after re-installation on a new DB to check if add plugin/theme were there and yes, there they were in place.
I have then restored original DB on the same newly installed WP and boom… add plugin/theme are gone again.

I have check the DB usermeta to see if my admin user (ID 1) lost admin rights and I have a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;} which I think it’s correct.

    Thanks in adavance!

After rolling back to the newly installed wp-config WP ADMIN popped up a login window (never seen it before). I logged in but the Install Theme tab didn’t go away so I clicked on it but…

“You do not have sufficient permissions to install themes on this site.”

So it seems to be a permission problem.

    thanks
