• Hi

When I try to add plugins on my multisite network, it doesn’t seem to work. The plugins only gets activated on my mainsite.

When I created the multisite network I only deactivated plugins on the mainsite, there was still plugins on the other 4 sites. Can that be the reason?
But even now when I add new plugins on the mainsite, they don’t appear on the other site.

    I used this guide: https://labinator.com/how-to-install-wordpress-multisite-network/

    Kind regards Sheila

  • Did you go to menu “My Sites > Network Admin > Plugins” and activate/deactivate the plugins?

Yes. Also when I want to add new plugins. They only get activated/deactivated on the main site.

Even after deactivating from the network still showing up? Did you make any modification to the multisite or using a plugin/theme that overrides those settings?

No, when I deactivate a plugin, it works fine, BUT only on the mainsite. It doesn’t deactivate on the whole network.

I don’t think I am using a theme or any plugins that overrides the settings, as the function hasn’t worked since I install the solution.

What is the version of your WordPress again? That feature should be working from the start.
