• I am running WordPress on IIS.
The site is running absolutely fine.

If I go to the “Add Plugin” page and then click the search box, enter a search term like “Security”, or “SEO” or “Test”. The search takes FOREVER!

I have disabled all plugins to see if it was a plugin issue.
I have changed the theme back to “twenty-sixteen”.

I have looked at the server and it isn’t under any load.
All resources are in the low to mid 30s (max).

All other sections of the site are very, very fast.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    Thanks so much in advance!

  • When I go to the blog section I see javascript errors in 4 places.

(index):185 Uncaught ReferenceError: loadTOCNode is not defined

Maybe that is slowing your search down. In Chrome, when you get ready to search, hit F12 to bring up development tools. Select console and do your search.
