    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out.

That’s odd. What theme are you using? What happens when you disable all plugins but SportsPress?

Also, what happens when you try to create a friendly event?

If friendlies work it could be an issue with missing competitions/seasons in the player or team profiles.

    Hey danis039,

Please try the same, but if it doesn’t work, please create a new ticket as it could be caused by something else.

    Thanks!

Hi @rochesterj, I don’t think this is theme related, as it happens in the backend. Same problem when mode is set to friendly. I’m using my own theme. This problem did not exist in version 2.7.8.

Players are saved normally when the event is created, that’s fine. The problem occurs when you update the event. Full time is set to 0 and the previously selected players are wiped, as well as goals, assists, etc. This is quite frustrating as it deleted match stats that I had previously created once I updated to 2.7.9 and modified the match post.

Is there any update planned or should I rollback to 2.7.8?

    Thanks

Same issue here, i can’t add any players to a match.

@hobbace @danis039 @jarinski Thanks for your feedback regarding the player checklist on the match edit page. We’ve just released a patch which fixes the issue (version 2.7.10). Please update and let us know if it works!

@brianmiyaji @rochesterj, thanks for the update.

It seems to be working for the most part. Substitutes are not being saved ?? All players show as “Starting Lineup” even if I change those values.

@danis039 Ah, you’re right. This is due to an escape function called wp_kses which was removing the selected attribute from the dropdown. We’re releasing a patch to fix this now (version 2.7.11).
