Add photo to multiple pages

  • Hello
    Sorry – very new to all this.
    Is there a simple way to attach a photo to more than one page without uploading the same image again? I have seen answers on this, but they all revolve around code etc. I was rather hoping for a button!

  • You can insert an image in as many post or pages as you want but you can’t attach it to more than 1 post or page.

    And please don’t post the same question multiple times.

    Also – may I ask what the difference between attaching, and inserting is?

    An image is attached to a page or post when it is uploaded whilst in edit Post / Edit Page. Or, if I remember correctly, it is selected from the Media Library to be that post/page’s featured image (assuming no prior association exists).

    Images that are associated with a page can be displayed on that via the Gallery. Images that have simply been inserted & are not associated cannot.
