Add Phone Anchor Link

    Hey Guys,

    Just a suggestion, but it would be wonderful if you could add the code in the plugin so that the phone number was hyperlinked automatically. It is a pretty simple addition I think, but a super useful one for users.

    <a href="tel:$phonefield">$phonefield</a>

    Not sure if it is that simple. I’m sure this could be done on my end, but then it would be lost when the plugin got updated. Thanks guys, love your plugin!

    Thanks for contacting us here.

    It’s not exactly that simple–the “linking” of phone numbers only works on mobile browsers, first off, and even then, only if the right metadata is attached, which is to say, we need to “know” that’s a phone number as opposed to some other bit of text.

    We’ll definitely add this to the list of things to add for the future, though. Thanks for the suggestion!
