    Hello,

    I have this problem: On my prior non WordPress page I have a folder with PDFs on the URL “www.myDomain.com/myFolder/myFile.pdf”. Now I installed WordPress and want to add myFolder with the PDFs in it that it could be accessed on the same URL as prior. I tried to move the folder to the main directory but this didn’t work.

    Where do I have to put the folder? Or how could it be accessed on the same URL?

    Thanks for help :=)

  • Hi @fellloo
    Actually, it is not possible
    because wordpress has its own file structure

    Thanks for reply. Ok I see. This would be great to have. Please add it to a new version of WordPress. This shouldn’t be a great thing, or?

    A workaround would be to have another domain on your server and load the folder there. Then you could use a redirect plugin on the WordPress site to redirect the prior URLs to the other domain.
