Add or Remove a Specific Post

    there are some posts that show under related posts that don’t apply and some that should which don’t show and would like to be able to adjust them. I tried to put the title of the post in the body of the related post I want to appear and that didn’t work then tried to give both the same tag and that didn’t work, then gave them the same category and that didn’t work. How can I get a post to be ‘related’ so it shows and what can I do with one that isn’t related to a specific post to be ‘unrelated’?

  • YARPP doesn’t let you manually specify specific posts which should or shouldn’t be “related”… instead, I suggest trying to add or remove common tags or categories, and making sure tags and categories are “considered” as part of your relatedness formula. You can check this by going to YARPP settings and showing the “relatedness” box via Screen Options.

    If you need to really have full control over what posts are related or not, YARPP is not the plugin for you.
