Add-ons not updating

Hi Camu,
I noticed that our add-ons were on a super old version:
Export To Excel 1.5.5
User overview 1.8.3I clicked Check For Updates but nothing seems to be updating, and it looks like it’s been that way for a while. So I re-purchased both add-ons. So I’m curious as to what’s the best way update. Do I ftp the plugins, rename the old and then replace them? I don’t want to delete the originals in the event I lose any data.
Thoughts?
