Add ons missing in price with discount

    We have a problem with the add ons and applying a percentage discount to all products.

    Our sample product has a price of €5 and possible add on of €0.50. So if you select the add on it sells for €5.50.

    Without the discount activated the add on price is added to the cart total like expected. This works fine.

    When the discount is activated, the add on price is no longer added to cart total. If you select the €5 product and select €0.50 add on, the product price is still €5 while it should be €5.50

    Can you please help us so the add on price is added to product priced? Currently customers don’t pay for the add ons when we have the discount activated, because the add on-price is not added to cart total.

    So current status: WP Scripts told us the discount plugin we have is causing a conflict. The solution: de-activate that plugin.

    Off course we have the discount-plugin for a reason so the problem is not solved.
    The discount plugin works exactly as expected without food store plugin. It’s the add on prices that are not added to the subtotal, so they are essentially free of charge.

    We hope to have a real “solved” for our problem soon. To be continued…

    Hello,

    We can say otherwise that, the Food Store plugin works fine without the discount plugin.

    The thing is the addons are added to the main items in the cart in a way that WooCommerce allows means as extra fees to the parent item. But it’s the discount plugin which is not recognizing the other fees except the parent items price.

    We are not going to debug with one specific plugin is creating the conflict. I hope you understand this.

    Hi,

    We can understand that a specific conflict with one plugin is not doable for you to resolve everytime. Only we tested 5 different discount plugins. All discount plugins have the same issue with the Food Store plugin.

    The add on price is not paid in any of them. Which would mean all 5 discount plugins are doing something wrong…

    Maybe we are just looking at the wrong discount plugins, so if you can help us with a good suggestion that would be awesome! Thank you
