    good day dear KZeni

many thanks for your request. This is outstanding. I really like this idea. I surely think that this is a great step towards a featurerich WP-Job-Manager with powerful functions and a very very broad use-cases-scenario.

I really like the idea of workin on the API that helps accomplishing this project.

Many thanks for bringing this to our awareness.

    Keep up the great work..

Notably, it appears there was previously a CareerBuilder Integration add-on, but that has since been removed. You can see this extension’s page from back in 2016 here: https://web.archive.org/web/20160512153704/https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/careerbuilder-integration/

Why would this integration be removed / no longer supported? Was it simply due to an API change without having resources to update it, or was it something else?

Again, I see websites being able to pull listing from CareerBuilder now so I’d imagine this should still be possible, and it was certainly once offered officially.

Hi! We removed our CareerBuilder integration because in order to use it, you needed to request a key *and* get approved by them. Many of our users were purchasing it and then not getting approved, so we decided it was best to stop selling the add-on. Sorry!

Interesting… I wonder if there’s an agreement that could be added to the purchase process so it to be approved by the purchaser with a clear description of this scenario before being able to make the purchase.

Although, that still might not work if the CareerBuilder approval process needs to have the implementation fully set up before requesting approval.

Otherwise, maybe there could be an unsupported/archived version of this add-on that’s freely available that could be potentially managed by the community as needed to have unofficial support.

Either way, I thought I might mention it as a possible solution to the problem since I’m thinking this integration could still be useful for plenty of sites.

    Thanks for the helpful response!

Hi Richard, we are definitely interested in the CareerBuilder integration plug in. Our site is already built and we are multi-industry, so a jobs theme won’t work for us. https://www.poweredbystl.com If you click on the SEARCH JOBS button, that is where we’d like our jobs from CareerBuilder to populate.

    Thanks in advance.
