Add-on plugin for creating quotes and sending to customers

    I’m not experienced with WooCommerce and want to the community’s help finding out a plugin that will work with sending quotes to customers and having the complexity to create forms and pricing based on metrics and predefined calculations. Ie I want to be able to link prices to commissions so as the admin user adjust the sales price, the commission changes. That is just one example of the different use-case of the site. I’ve done some initial google searches for quotes and commissions, etc but I think my knowledge of the WP communities would be better served asking people with more experience on the platform.

    Anyone know of any good tools I can use?

    Thanks for reaching out to the community for help with this. This is an interesting idea you have here. I want to make sure I’m following what you have in mind.

    • Send quotes to customers.
    • Create pricing based on metrics and predefined calculations.
    • You’d like the new prices to cause changes in commissions.

    Out of the box, WooCommerce does have the ability to send a quote to a customer. The way that would work is by manually creating an invoice and sending it to the customer. My wife uses that as a way to send an invoice that can then be paid once the price is agreed upon.

    Manually created orders can allow you to adjust the pricing any way you’d like to. You could use any calculations you’d like, but they would be external to the actual pricing.

    I’m not aware of a plugin that would automate this for you. Everything would be manual. If you did want to automate this, there are people for hire who could help you at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/
