Add on not showing on product page

  • I’ve just installed this plugin and followed the documentation to add a checkbox and text field to my print book products (a simple product). I want people to be able to request a personalised autograph. However when I go to the product page the extra fields are not showing.
    Under Product Add-ons (General under YITH Plugins) I kept everything ticked.
    Under Products / Product Add-ons I created a Group called Autograph, made it visible to public, gave it a priority 1, added all the print products under Products and then added two Add-ons 1: Do you want it autographed? which is a check box and I didn’t make it required or change any other settings. 2: a Text box which is required if the above check box is ticked.
    Is there something else I need to do in order to get this to show on the product page?

    The problem can be related to the template actions.

    There is a “woocommerce” folder inside your theme directory (also in child)?
    If yes, try to remove or rename it for a test.

    HI Corrado,

    Yes there is a woocommerce folder inside the theme directory (though not in the child). I renamed it, but it made no difference.

    Hi Corrado,

    I’m not sure. Do I have to change themes to check? Is that going to mess with my whole website? I have both Cornerstone and Thrive Architect installed on my site.
