Add NextGEN Gallery icon missing from my toolbar

I’m waiting on a reply myself. The regular Gallery works fine (Idownloaded and installed this in error). When I realised, I downloaded the Pro version and installed and this does not work. No icons at all even though the plugin is installed and activated.

Support are looking into it and it does seem to be a Pro version error.

If they get back to me before you, I’ll keep you updated.

Thanks Malycom, and I’ll do the same. I just now went back and installed an older version of NextGen but it apparently wasn’t wasn’t compatible with my version of Pro.

\Two weeks and counting since I ordered NexGen Pro. I had big plans for it but now I’d really would like to use it at least once.

Not sure if you did the same as me, but when I uploaded the Pro, I had deactivated the free version.

Both need to be installed and activated in order for the Pro version to work as it is merely an extension of the current free version.

Mine is working now.

I had this issue as well after updating to 2.0.11 – images opened in new windows, no lightbox, and the add gallery icon missing from the editing bar for posts and pages.

I rolled back to 2.0.7 with Pro 1.04, which is working fine for me, until this latest issue is resolved.

In the end I have canceled my recurring membership for NextGEN Pro.

It doesn’t work and I can’t update because of an issue with the updating process.

The staff and support on NextGEN’s side have been very understanding and great. I thank them for that. The plugin itself however has been a frustrating waste of time and money.

I really was looking forward to using this plugin. In the end however I’ve decided to not renew my membership. If they get things working then I might change my mind and try it again but who knows at this point. Right now it’s broken and been a complete waste in income that never worked once.

If you are a NextGEN Pro subscriber, you should also be using your member’s area at https://nextgen-gallery.com/ if this is a NextGEN pro related issue you are having.
