• Hello,

I got a question regarding inviting new users to several multisite’s without actually inviting them.

I recently updated WordPress from an old version (3.x) to 4.5 and since then I noticed something has changed in the ‘add users’ screen. It used to be like this:

    https://cdn.wpbeginner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/add-new-user-wordpress.png

But now it looks like this:

    https://prnt.sc/b0uodv

I was searching the internet and saw somebody write about allowing people to register to the website in default settings of the website. Now because of the fact it’s a Multisite, I don’t see that option in Settings. So I started to look at the settings of the network, where I also can’t find the setting to disable user registration, except by admins. I only found a option where I could ‘grant’ admins to add new users, which I obviously turned on and off with no result.

Is there something else I could try?

    Thanks in advance.

User Registration settings are in Network Admin–Settings–Network Settings

Are you asking how you can allow users to sign themselves up and create new sites? Maybe you can ask your question a different way with some examples?
