Add new user – I am admin but I only see "Add Existing User"

Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

I’m not sure how the other admin set it up. But he can ADD NEW USER and I cannot. So not sure why there’s a difference between our options.

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

blogs.poughkeepsiejournal.com is a multisite installation — in multisite, only the admins of the entire network (as opposed to the individual sites within it) can create new users.

Thanks for the info. Also…*sadness* because the network admin’s busy with the election. No resolution to the problem until Thursday. ??
