Add new user

Hi,

Today i signed into my wordpress account to create a new contributor user like i always do for the past year, but this time it didn’t give me the option to choose whether the user would be sent the password or not.

I created the user and added my own email and it sends the user the password automatically now.

How can i change it back to what it was before, that you can choose if the contributor will receive an password or not.

We don’t give access to any of our contributors, we publish the articles on behalf of them.

Can anyone advice why this suddenly changed? It worked fine few days ago.
