Add New Slider not working after 2.6.9 update

Just a note: I manually reverted to version 2.6.8, and the ability to add new sliders is back in working order. I can confirm that it’s a problem with the update itself.

Please let me know when the problem has been addressed and corrected. Thank you.

Im having the same problem.

Even after the latest 2.7.0 update the add new slider button just refreshes the last slider that was created.

Dear user if you can not add new slider that can be because of some errors and mostly the errors are different for each site.
We can not give one solution for each problem, so please if you can contact our developer [email protected] they can solve the problem individually

Actually, it seems the problem is more wide-spread, my friend, due to the mounting threads regarding the problem. I’m really too busy to get into an email debate over it, so here’s what I’d tell your developer: new WordPress install, Interstellar theme (bare bones), no other plugins activated. At all. This is a fresh, new site just under development. And I’ve got version 2.6.8 working fine, so I’m not worried. I can always switch to another slider if necessary.

I just wanted to give your developer(s) a heads up. Just let us know when the problem has been solved.

And yes we have updated the plugin. So free versions can update it for some time, and pro versions should contact us to get the file

I am also having the exact same problem. I cannot add new slideshows with the + button.

I got the solution for the problem: “not be able to add slides”

just deactivate the plugin and activate it again.

Worked for me.
