    Hi there!

I’m currently in the final leg of a site migration and I just realized that my Jetpack account (ie wordpress.com account) still shows my old blog as primary domain, which means when you subscribe using the Jetpack subscription widget you subscribe to my old site and not the new one. How can I change this? I read somewhere that people have disconnected Jetpack and then connected again, but Jetpack won’t let me disconnect. How can I change this?

Nevermind I just made a new wordpress.com account that’s attached to my new site. Although I still think that there might be an easier way to change sites on the same account.

You should be able to use the same WordPress.com account for both sites.

To change your WordPress.com account’s primary domain, you can go to this page:
    https://wordpress.com/me/account

That wouldn’t affect your Jetpack subscription widget, though. If you experienced an issue with signups, disconnecting and then reconnecting Jetpack to WordPress.com might indeed have been the proper fix. You can do so thanks to the “Disconnect” link appearing at the bottom of the Jetpack menu.
