• I had Flipboard added to Sharing through “Add New Service.” All of a sudden it stop working. I deleted and tried to add again several times. It gives a nonfunctional icon. To make sure, I was not making a mistake or it is a Flipboard issue, I tried adding some other services to Sharing through Add New Services,, and all of this are having this issue since today morning.

  • We have two icons for other sharing services, Diaspora and GNU-Social, and we have suffered the same issues: unfunctional icons for both. And it happened after the Jetpack update.

Our blog is colaboratorio.net. You can watch it there…

Everything works, except, the “Add a New Service.” It produces a non-functional blank button. I am reverting to version 4.5, instead of having broken custom sharing buttons.

Hope it is something to be solved soon.

Sorry, you can’t watch it at colaboratorio dot net, a coleague wipe it out before… But the problem it’s the same!

Disable the Autoupdate, if you have it enabled delete v 4.6 and install v 4.5. Get rid of this buggy v4.6, if you want to use custom sharing.

Thank you all for the reports!

I was able to reproduce the issue as well, and logged the problem here:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/6348

We’ll see about getting this fixed in the next Jetpack release.

    Sorry all for the trouble.

You are right, at least, this is what we should do until the people from Jetpack come to offer us a solution. I hope that does not take much. Updates are also used to have a safer blog

Sorry, I was editing and I didn’t seen the answer till I send it.

Yes, updates are “supposed” to have a safer blog, but Auto-update is a big risk against a “buggy” update, such this one. It can bring your whole website down, or break important features on which you rely – like this one did… and so far Jetpack developers have not answered. For these reasons, I do not like auto-updates. I do not want to get up in the morning with emails from viewers that something is broken, then spend a couple of hours fixing it. Auto-update is a poison for your blog. Same applied to PC’s OS auto-updates, that one morning you get up and say damn, everything was OK when I turn it off last night.

and so far Jetpack developers have not answered.

There’s one three answers up this comment, man…or woman.
