    Hello EtoileWebDesign,

Thank you for creating this great plugin!

We’re very excited to use the plugin on our site (https://womenscalendar.com/) but have run into a bit of difficulty viewing our FAQs / embedding our FAQs using shortcode.

We created and published our first FAQ, and when attempting to view the FAQ (https://womenscalendar.com/ufaqs/event-creators-sell-tickets/), we are receiving an error: Not found, error 404.

When attempting to embed the FAQ using the shortcode [select-faq faq_id=’21584′], nothing displays.

    How can this be resolved?

    Thanks!

    -Brian

  • Hi Brian,

For the 404 errors, as is often the case when a new custom post type is registered in WordPress, it sounds like you just need to flush your permalinks. To do this:

    – In the main menu, go to “Settings > Permalinks”.
    – Scroll down, if needed, and click “Save Changes”. No need to actually make any changes.
    – Rewrite rules and permalinks have now been flushed. Try your FAQ again.

For the [select-faq] shortcode, can you try referencing the faq you want to display by slug instead of ID? Like so:

    [select-faq faq_slug="my-faq-slug"]

    Thank you
