Add new post page not displaying correctly on multisite sub sites

    I have migrated my site to multisite. However when I switch to one of the sub sites as superadmin and try and create a new post the add new post page looks strange.

    There is no headline box, no editing tools and just two blank boxes side by side.

    I have disabled all plugins and tried switching themes.

    Any advice appreciated

    That’s a strange problem. Try re update to the latest version of WordPress again might solve your issue. You can view codex here to create a multisite properly

    I’m hosting on wpengine which manages the multisite move.

    However, my first attempt was to multisite an existing site and I’ve just read that upgrading an oldsite is not advised.

    Thus I will set up a new install, convert to multisite immediately, then see what happens.
