On the wordpress backend some pages do not open and gives this error

“This yoursite.com page can’t be found No webpage was found for the web address: https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php
    HTTP ERROR 404″

Pages that give this error are –
    1.) Dashboard >> Updates
    2.) Plugins >> add new
    3.) Appearance >> Theme editor
4.) Tools >> available tools, import, site health, export personal data, erase personal data
    5.) Settings >> Privacy

Rest of the pages are working.

All the pages on the site in the frontend are also working.

I deactivated all the plugins and checked. Installed fresh copy of wordpress but nothing helped.

Can anyone help in fixing this please?

    Thank you

Verify via FTP or your hosting file manager that the file actually exists and that its permissions are correct (typically 644).

If that checks out, examine the .htaccess file for any directives that might involve that filename. There shouldn’t be, but sometimes there’s a directive targeting something else with a coincidental file or path name.

If there is a modSecurity or similar module active, it may be the cause. It normally returns 403 Forbidden errors, but could in some cases return 404 errors instead. If this is the cause, its configuration needs adjustment so plugin-install.php can be properly accessed.
