Add new plugin

    When i go to add new from plugin…i don’t see the page which should ideally be coming. i am attaching screen shot of the page that is visible, this has a link to this support forum, please guide me what is the problem – error is coming with the following things on menu…
    featured, popular, recommended, favorite.

    At the bottom it says – an unexpected error ocurred………..please try support forum. I wished to attach screen shot with this question but i don’t see an option to do that

    Can you set WP_DEBUG to true in your wp-config.php and paste the response you receive? Are you connected to a proxy server?

    I am not that good on using wordpress, only thing that i do on regular basis is publishing articles. Can you please guide me on how to reach wp-config, i checked it under appearance, tools and other things but could not locate. Please also guide me through the steps. Also to inform you that i am not connected to any proxy server.

    Have you tried contacting your host about the issue? It is likely server related and they may be able to get you more information. To turn on WP_DEBUG and look for error messages, you would need to connect via FTP or if your host provides you with some kind of cPanel or Plesk file manager.

    hi Craig

    I spoke to my hosting service provider and they helped me resolve the issue over the phone. There were some virus infected files that had no content, they suggested me to delete those files from cpanel. Due to which port 80 was blocked. now it is working fine. Thanks for your help
