Add new page/post background colour wrong

Hello,

I’m hoping someone can help me with this as I’m wracking my brain at the minute. I’m working on upgrading my website to work with wordpress and up until today I’ve been working with a dark theme (I’m working with weaver 2.2.6). I decided that a light theme would work better, so have switched over.

Everything looks fine when viewing the website, but for some reason, when I create a new post/page, the add new page/post text area in WP admin is still black. This isn’t too much of a problem, as the text shows up white, but it’s still quite frustrating, as it’s hard to see where the cursor is. The website has a tiled image as the background, but I’ve set the page background to white #FFFFFF on both the theme and in the background setting.

Hope someone can suggest something…
