Add new options to the page creation screen

  • Hello,

    I would like to know how to add a new set of options to the page creator screen. I know about the settings API but that creates a whole new page for that set of settings. Is there a way I can do what i want?

    The page edit screen is composed of meta boxes. Some boxes may have hooks that allow you to add additional content, it depends on the box. What you certainly can do is add your own meta box. This is described in the Plugin Handbook. The process can be applied just as well to your own theme or child theme.
